You Should Know Where to Start

Published on Saturday, 14 November 2009

In everything you do, you should know where to begin. Don't worry about having so many things to do, rather, worry about how to get everything done. Even in cleaning your house, you need to concentrate on one objective which is to clean the entire house the right away, with lesser hassles.

There are some rules of thumbs which you can consider in cleaning and the first one is to know which part of your house needs most of your time cleaning. What part of your house is the toughest place to tidy up?

Then, if possible list down the things you need to do so you wouldn't miss anything. Try to limit your scope when cleaning. For instance you want to tidy a specific cabinet, focus on it first. Then, go to the next area which would probably be the shelves and drawers. Doing a specific task one a time will make cleaning way easier.

To get everything done, don't go to the next task without finishing your first task.  Otherwise, you will only increase the number of things to do. If you find things unnecessary, place them in storage room right away instead of keeping them somewhere else. This means, you need to be organized when cleaning, too.

Finally, don't take the burden all by yourself. Request your other family members to help you in cleaning to get things done quickly.
