Ways to Keep Your Vacation House Clean
Published on Saturday, 07 November 2009
Vacation houses are occupied only for a while. But never expect that your house will always be clean. Dusts and other residues can swarm up your vacation haven if it has no regular occupant. One of the best things you can do is a regular visit to your vacation house. Do the cleaning during these visits. But if you are too busy to do that, then maybe one of the following can help you out:
· Hiring a housekeeper. Hire a local from the place to look after your vacation house regularly. Once-a-week cleaning is recommended but you can do it once-a-month. It is also best to pay the cleaner in advance to attract a loyal housekeeper.
· Find people to rent the vacation house. Compared with hiring a housekeeper, this option will instead pay you. In fact, the payment from your renters will be almost enough for the monthly payment of the house. Aside from that, having renters will ensure that your house will always be clean. Just be picky when it comes to renters. Don't just take in anyone who wishes to rent your house.
· Find some boarders. Unlike renters, boarders won't stay in your house forever. Maybe only some months or weeks are enough for boarders. You may require them to clean your vacation house, too. This way, you can earn while they maintain your house.
With these three options, you surely won't have any reason to leave your vacation house in mess. You may even discover that your second home can be a good way to earn, too. More news
