Tips on How to Remove Stain off Leather

Leather is popular because it gives your home a warm and at the same time, an elegant feel. It's also relatively easier to maintain. In fact, daily dusting and a monthly vacuum would do the trick. And to make the leather shiny, using leather cleaner every few months would be advised. What you should avoid though is exposing your leather furniture to heat like sunlight and cooking areas. Nevertheless, stains cannot be avoided over time. If you want to maintain the great looks of your leather furniture and get more from your investment, you need to deal with them as you discover the stains. For instance, if you have children bubble gum would be a common stain. To remove the bubble gum you could use a hair dryer to dry it out. Then using a piece of clean cloth gently remove it. To protect and to avoid drying your leather too, apply leather conditioner afterwards. Mildew and molds can easily be removed by mixing equal parts of water and isopropyl alcohol. And using a clean piece of cloth, rub the solution on the affected parts in circular motion. If you have ink on your leather furniture, simply spray hairspray on the area and wipe it off gently. Repeat the process until ink is removed completely. Stains would be removed more easily if you act as soon as possible. If you clean your leather furniture everyday, you would be able discover the stains sooner. And with clean and elegant looking leather furniture, you will surely enjoy your furniture more.
