Carpet cleaning companies have been charging their customers extra for a stain protection. What you don't know is that this service should already come with their standard service. Why? Here are the reasons:
1. Stain protection is very cheap that they can almost give stain protection for free.
2. Putting stain protection on the carpet takes only some minutes.
So, there is no reason why cleaning companies will consider stain protection as an added service. Be vigilant about this and never let greedy companies fool you. If your carpet needs stain protection, demand for it. If they ask for extra charge, ask why. If they tell you that it's expensive, then tell them it's not. You should already stay away with companies using that scheme because they might be scammers.
Professionals doing this commonly use intimidation so you can't say no to them. But never let them earn some money from you. Be more intimidating and if they force you to pay for extra charges, then better call the authorities immediately.
Now, you know why stain protection should be in a company's standard cleaning service. Keep in mind also that you deserve fair service and you deserve stain protection without added cost. If the company can't give this to you, then better turn away from that. There are still better cleaning companies that can offer you better services with fair charges.
