Some Tips for Efficient Spring Cleaning
Published on Thursday, 15 April 2010
Spring's back, so it's time to air out the house again and drive out the snooty and stuffy atmosphere of the past season. It's a time where you can enjoy the outdoors again, and the breeze is something you want to let in - and not keep out - of the house. Of course,
some spring cleaning is in order, which can be enjoyable but is undoubtedly a lot of effort to undertake. But with a few key steps, you can make
your spring cleaning become more efficient. Here's how: 1. Involve other people. If you live in a place that you share with other people, get them involved - it not only makes for more fun and better camaraderie, but also lessens the effort and work each of you need to do individually. 2. Create a plan of action where you try to cover all aspects
of the cleaning process. This will help you divide tasks up better - with others if you're not alone, or in terms of time allotment if you're going solo. 3. Allot a significant amount of time to do it. Spring cleaning is a lot of effort, so don't be under any illusions that it's easy and doesn't need a lot of time to accomplish. 4. Take breaks from time to time so you don't get burnt out.
