Never treat laminated flooring the same as the common and traditional hard wood flooring. The cleaning products used to treat a laminated floor are different from that of the hard wood. That is the fundamental thing to remember. So, be cautious of what products you are buying. Laminated flooring is usually made of fiber boards. Fiber boards are usually sensitive in high chemical contents. In addition, fiber boards are water resistant thus, never be afraid of water damaging your flooring. However, it is not suggested that you use water in cleaning a laminated flooring. Furniture pieces are the major causing factors of hard to repair scratches. Therefore, it is mandatory that every furniture piece at home should have rubber pads to protect the flooring from getting damaged.
