Kids' Bedroom Project: Cleaning 101
Published on Wednesday, 03 February 2010
Your kids' bedroom must not only display a joyful and educational ambiance. It is also important to make it as neat as possible to encourage joy, learning, and more importantly, safety. Therefore, you must do everything to keep the room as immaculate as possible. Here are some tips to achieve this goal:
· Stickers. If you remove stickers, expect that they will not be completely removed. Therefore, make use of rubbing alcohol, nail polish remover, peanut butter, and other commercial products like De-Solve, Ben Gay ointment, and WD-40.
· Stuffed animals. It is a good idea to place stuffed animals inside any pillow case that is tied with a not. Place them in a washing machine afterwards. Also, you can freshen the stuffed toys up by shaking them in paper sack with baking soda.
· Labels. Label all the boxes and tubs inside the room. This will help keep the toys out of the floor and teach the kids to sort things out.
· Shelves. Place a lot of shelves in the room so that there are enough places in where your kids can pile up or arrange their toys as well as books.
· Donation. Ask your kids about the toys they don't use anymore and donate them to a child care institution.
If you and your kids make these ideas a project at home, you will always be sure that their rooms will remain neat. Not only that, it will definitely encourage fun, learning, and safety as well.
