How to Remove Butter Stains Off the Upholstery

The longer you use your furniture the more likely you're going to get some stains on it. And the more people you have in your household, the more spills and dirt it's going to get.
Stains could come from dirty feet and dirty clothing. But many of the stains could come from the food that is dropped to your upholstery. For instance, families usually love hanging out on the sofa. While watching television together eating popcorn is a common practice among families. And as you do, some popcorn is bound to fall to the sofa and the carpet, resulting to stains.
To remedy the situation, you could use a dry cleaning solvent. Get a piece of white cloth as well and apply the solvent on it. Then blot the stain using this piece of cloth. Never rub or scrub the cloth on the stain as this would only worsen the situation. It would spread the stain and damage the upholstery as a result.
Get a cup of warm water and mix it with a tablespoon of mild and ph balanced dish detergent. Blot the stain again using this mixture. Then get another towel and wet it with clean warm water. Use this towel to sponge the solvent and detergent off. Then all you have to do is to leave it to dry. The stains would have been removed by then and you'll have your upholstery looking great again.
