How to Keep Your Bathroom Clean and Tidy

Published on Sunday, 31 January 2010

The first step in bathroom cleaning is to remove all the laundry from there and keep them in the washing machine. Most of the people have a tendency to leave their clothes in the bathroom only after having a bath. We would not be able to clean the bathroom completely if the laundry is still lying there in the bathroom.
Bathroom is the most tedious area of a house to clean. Unfortunately, someone has to do it. Here are some tips on how to keep your bathroom clean and tidy:
Remove the laundry
The best way to start in cleaning your bathroom is to remove first all the dirty clothes, dirty towels, and rugs from there.
Start Dusting
After removing all the laundry from the bathroom, the next step is to clean the easy portions of the bathroom and involve dusting the corners and ceiling. Start removing all the curtains and draperies, too.
Scrubbing
The next step is to scrub the shower area and tub. This is the main part of cleaning the bathroom. Make sure there is no soap residue in the shower or tub area after you scrub it. Use detergent or acidic solutions on the tiles and flooring to remove stains.
Clean the toilet
The last part will be cleaning the toilet. Scrub the inside of the toilet using toilet bowl scrubs. You can use detergent and other acidic solutions like lemon or vinegar to sanitize and remove unwanted stains in your toilet.
Next time you clean your bathroom, try to follow these steps. They will help you clean your bathroom in an organized and systematic fashion, thus, saving you more time and effort when you clean it.
