How to Clean the Closet

A clean and organized closet provides many benefits, one of which is that you don't have to spend time looking for something when you are in a hurry to go to work. Everyone knows how frustrating it can be to go through all your stuff, just to find your trousers. To avoid this stress , you need to keep your closet always clean and organized. However, many of us don't have the time to clean , so we often leave it for the next time. Truth is, this ?'next time'' never comes, so we keep wasting our time , when we have to find something.
Here is a better way to cope with the heaped with items and unorganized closet:
First of all, you will need boxes, to pack all the things you don't use from the closet. There are always a couple of stuff we no longer use but somehow we cannot find the time to free some space in the closet. So, get two boxes and label them for charity and throw away. The things, which can be used again you can give to charity, while the others which are completely useless , you can throw away. Go through your stuff and decide what you can and cannot use. There is no need to keep stuff, which you no longer need in the closet, when you can free some space. You can also have one additional box for the stuff you don't use now , but you will need again. Those things, you can store in the garage, so to leave only things you are using often in the closet.
It is a good idea , to keep your clothes seasonally organized. For instance, if it is summer, you will need summer clothes. You can divide your clothes according to the season and place organize them separately in the closet. For instance, you can put your winter clothes , which you will not need for four months , on the last shelves in the closet. Thus , when you are looking for your summer clothes, you don't have to go through all your clothes to find a summer skirt.
Another good idea is to organize the shelves in the closet for the whole family. In other words, you can divide them , one or two shelves which will be only your husband's clothes and in the same way for the other family members. This will help you and your family to find something more easily and keep the closet organized. They will not have to go through all the stuff to find their clothes. You can also have a spate shelve for socks only.
For your shoes it is a good idea to use a rack for shoes. In this way, you can organize again your shoes and will be easier for you to find them. If you have shoes, which you cannot wear , you can pack them in the ?'charity'' box. Make sure to leave only the stuff , which are new and can be worn.
Once you have organized your closet in such way, it will be easier for you to keep it in order. Think how much time you will safe , when you maintain your closet in well organized.
Even though, it may take you a couple of hours to put your closet in order and to decide what you will keep and what to give to charity, you have to clean your closet. We usually keep too much stuff in the closet, plus the things we don't wear anymore. This is why , finding your clothes very often turns into a frustrating and annoying game.
