Rugs are one the things that are found every house. They are very useful aside from being an accent in a room. During a house cleaning, rugs should also be cleaned. Here are some tips on how to clean rugs:
Rugs that are made from heavy or thick cloth materials or big and heavy rugs should be cleaned by
special rug cleaning machines. There are companies that
offer rug cleaning or washing services. These companies have special
equipments for cleaning rugs such as rug washing machines. Heavily stained rugs that you think you can't manage to remove should be handled by these professional rug cleaning companies.
They also have special equipment in rinsing heavy rugs. Remember, thick or heavy rugs become twice as heavy when they become wet. So, you might as well set some budget for rug cleaning. Incorrect cleaning could ruin your rugs' material. Incorrect drying is worst because it will cause a foul smell similar to a smelly wet dog.
Rugs made from thin cloth materials or smaller rugs can be cleaned using detergents and other cleaning solutions. Carefully remove unnecessary particles caught in the rugs using a vacuum cleaner and then hand wash them. Make sure to let them dry by hanging them outside and exposed under the sun.
