Floor Cleaning Guide for Newbies

Published on Saturday, 23 January 2010

The house floor is one of the highly "abused" areas in any home.  Everyday, smudges, dirt, and dusts are being accumulated on the floor.  In addition, scratches due to furniture movement and all cause cruelty to the home floor, too.  In order to have a floor that is dust and dirt free, please follow the guide below:

If you have a carpeted flooring, it is best that you regularly clean and vacuum the carpets to avoid too much dusts on the floor.  Periodically remove these carpets to allow for the floor to "inhale and exhale".  Dust off the floor by sweeping all accumulated dusts underneath the carpet. For home floors that are marbles and limestone, make sure that you do not apply strong alkali chemical or the like as these chemicals can cause poor quality on limestone. As much as possible, do not use any scouring material such as scouring pad to scrub the floor surface.  The usage of such instantly leaves marks and stains on the floor that is quite difficult to remove.

This floor cleaning guide is going to help you and the people you know so might as well make use of these concepts, now!
