The most common disease-carrying insects are mosquitoes. These nuisances usually proliferate on hidden areas of the home, particularly those spots where stagnant water can accumulate. With this, it would be best to randomly check such possible areas and dispose as needed, especially after a rain fall.
If you happen to have a central air conditioning system, it is a must to perform regular cleaning on air ducts where dust, dirt and other unwanted particles may tend to rapidly accumulate. Doing this will not only give you a smoother air circulation inside the house, but it will make the cooling system more efficient therefore it will save you money on electric bills.
Cleaning the carpet and upholstery should also be done frequently. Stains will not only make these house essentials look untidy but it will also expose the family to harmful allergens that may compromise their health.
