If you are moving to a new place, you will definitely become busy preparing in your move to your new apartment. Packing all your
things and cleaning your new apartment will already make you busy. However, do not forget to clean your old apartment to avoid unnecessary charges from your landlord.
Here are some tips to help you clean your unit easily.
If you have nailed or hang any pictures on the wall, you need to remove the nails, screws, or pins and patched them up if necessary.
Do not forget to dust or wash the wall, window, and ceiling moldings.
Wash the blinds to remove any dust and dirt.
Wash your windows and remove any stains.
Clean your bathroom and remove any soap stains.
Do not forget to scrub your sink, bathtubs, showers, and toilets. Remove any hair or soap scum in the tub or shower.
Do not forget to clean your kitchen walls, too. You
can use cleaning solutions to remove grease and grime.
Clean the stove and the broiler. Make sure to leave it sparkling.
Cabinets and drawers should be wiped clean. Make sure that your closets are empty.
Scrub your floors. You can use special oil for floorings on hardwood floors.
If you have a garden or yard, make sure the ground is free of debris.
