Cleaning Home in Summer

Published on Thursday, 13 August 2009

Summer is oftentimes not the best season to clean since you end up sweating too much especially if you are cleaning outdoors. But if your house is air-conditioned then cleaning can be tolerable. So, it is suggested that you do the outdoor cleaning during the beginning of the season and the indoor cleaning later on.
Windows, screens, and shutters should be cleaned during summer. Use water to thoroughly clean every part of the window and use brooms in removing the spider webs and dusts in your windows.
If you are going to clean your driveway or your deck, use deck cleaner. Broom and stiff brush can also be utilized. If your driveways are asphalt-made use detergent powder and mix it with water and later on rinse the driveway carefully.
Your lawn should be cleaned during summer and your best companion in this task is the lawn mover. If you have air conditioning units, cleaning is done by turning off the unit and then spraying it with water.
Finally, keep your mattresses away from dust mites and allergens by vacuuming the top of the mattress and washing the sheets with hot water. You can also use cleaning detergents that can kill germs and bacteria when washing the sheets for mattresses.
