Basic Bathroom Cleaning Tips That Anyone Can Use

Bathroom cleaning starts by removing all the clutter which usually includes dirty clothes, shampoo bottles and towels. With these out of the way, you will have an easier time wiping and scrubbing items in your bathroom. The next step is to wipe walls and the ceiling with a damp rag. It is good to know that most materials used in bathrooms are actually very easy to clean. But that doesn't
mean zero cleaning. Don't forget to include fans and vents as dust may also build up inside. After wiping the walls clean, you can remove curtains and draperies. These should be cleaned separately and wait for them to dry thoroughly before putting them back. Now come the shower and tub. Scrub them properly and use a mild detergent to get rid of soap scum and mildew. If you have a tile surface, be careful not to use acidic materials as they may lead to discoloration. After the shower and tub, you may proceed to the toilet. This is the filthiest area in the bathroom. Hence, protect yourself by wearing
gloves while cleaning. Disinfectants may used to clean the toilet. Once the solution is set, you can rinse it with water and wipe it dry with paper towel. Lastly, mop the floor to with detergent and water. If you are expecting some visitors, you can also throw in some air fresheners and other toiletries. Your bathroom is now neat and spotless. Put a fresh set of towel in the handles and do not forget to put back the shampoo, soaps and hair dryers in their proper places.
